We at Cityhälsan Centrum Primary Health Care Centre are looking for a new colleague and welcome you to apply to our workplace. The centre has a forward-looking spirit, an open and non-hierarchical climate where we value collaboration within and between professional groups. We prioritize supervision, maintain high quality in our care for patients, and believe that everyone is equally valuable.
What We Offer
Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run primary health care centres, an emergency centre, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the child health service unit, the vaccination clinic, 1177, and a general medicine education centre. We provide a broad range of primary care services, offering care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients in the terminal stages of life.
We are a forward-looking organization with a strong focus on good working environment, development, and health. We actively work to create conditions for sustainable working life while maintaining a development-inspired approach to meet future challenges in primary care. Here, you will find excellent opportunities for career development if you wish to advance within your profession, become a manager, or move forward in other ways, such as through specialization or research.
Cityhälsan Centrum Primary Health Care Centre is centrally located on the old hospital site in Norrköping. The centre is run by Region Östergötland, has just over 14,000 registered residents in a mixed population, and approximately 60 permanent staff members, meaning we have broad staffing across different professions.
We work in interdisciplinary teams. We have four larger teams at the centre, and since early spring, we also have smaller teams where each permanent doctor has their own nurse. We focus on continuity and utilizing each other's competencies.
We are an IBH (Integrated Biopsychosocial Health) primary care centre, where doctors collaborate with psychologists, rehabilitation coordinators, and nurses, which brings significant benefits to patients and staff. The goal is to work together across the entire centre to increase the functional level and quality of life for many patients, as well as enhance their ability to manage their symptoms and avoid over-medicalization.
We have been an academic primary care centre for several years, with growing engagement in research across multiple professions. If you are interested in research, this could be the right place for you!
We value quality and prioritize a good educational environment. We have a highly regarded supervision function so that trainee doctors feel secure and achieve good competence. We have an elderly care clinic, and we are also an HBTQI-certified primary care centre. The basic structure of the centre is good, which facilitates daily work.

The schedule also includes so-called "self-booking" time, where you can decide whether you need the time for patient bookings or administration, thus having influence over your time. We are also otherwise responsive to your wishes regarding the schedule.
We work with flexible hours. On-call duties may be part of the assignment, depending on the length of employment. Cosmic is our work tool.
If you are interested in research, this is a great workplace for you.
You will naturally receive an introduction to give you the best possible conditions for your assignment.
Work Group

You can handle and switch between short and long visits. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability for the position.
Application and Employment
The employment is full-time (100%) and is fixed-term after agreement. We conduct ongoing selection, so please send in your application as soon as possible. Do not forget to attach a copy of your degree certificate or license.
