Do you want to become part of a wonderful team where job satisfaction is high? Then this might be the job for you! We are currently looking for a nurse who wants to become our new colleague.
Our Offer
At Vårdcentrum Finspång, we have gathered resources for safe, close, and good healthcare in collaboration with the Municipality of Finspång. Vårdcentrum Finspång belongs to Primary Care Centre (PVC) and includes a health centre with Child Health Centre (BVC), district nurse clinic, laboratory, and our own emergency clinic. Rehab Finspång is also located here. The entire operation consists of just over 230 employees in various positions, of which approximately 65 work at the Close Care Clinic. The Close Care Clinic operates 24/7 and includes LAH (Local Acute Hospital care/Home Care) and the close care ward. Also attached to the Close Care Clinic are the children's clinic, memory clinic, stroke clinic, and heart clinic. Our goal is to be an attractive workplace by promoting a work environment that provides balance between work and leisure. A characteristic of Vårdcentrum Finspång's operations is good collaboration between units and different professional groups. The municipality's short-term ward is located on the same floor as the close care ward, enabling cooperation. The close collaboration with the Municipality of Finspång also covers home care for our shared residents.
We maintain and develop your competence by allowing you, in addition to patient care, to combine your work with other assignments and participate in networks. Mentoring students is part of the assignment and is part of competence development. The Close Care Clinic offers opportunities for further education through external and internal courses. We work with continuous improvements and would be pleased if you are interested in driving change.
Job Description
Work at LAH involves meeting with severely ill people and their relatives in their home environment. Our patients have tumor diseases and other chronic conditions and need palliative care and medical interventions at home. The care is based on the cornerstones of palliative care: symptom relief, teamwork, support for relatives, as well as communication and relationships. We work from a person-centered perspective and place great emphasis on teamwork where the competence of all professions is utilized and where our combined competence and experience is the core of the care design. We have a close collaboration with the close care ward where our patients are cared for if home care is no longer an option. There is also close collaboration with municipal home care services.
About You
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with a couple of years of experience. For this position, you need a driver's license. We are keen on employees feeling secure with us, which is why we offer you an individual introduction. You will have continuous follow-up meetings with your manager and an individual development plan. Since you will communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues, it is important that you have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
We are looking for you who, with joy and commitment, want to develop within your profession and be part of the development of our organization. As a person, you are flexible, structured, have good collaboration skills, and good social skills. You are curious, have personal maturity, and an empathetic ability. You have an approach where the patient is in focus. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability and that you are the right person for our operations.
Application and Employment
Working hours are rotating and scheduled during the day and evening. The Close Care Clinic strives to offer attractive and healthy schedules. Weekend work is included. We apply individual schedule planning. There are also opportunities to be introduced to the night organization and the close care ward for a future rotating position.
We work with ongoing selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
If you are interested, you are welcome to contact any of us so we can tell you more about our operations. We can also meet unconditionally where you have the opportunity to drop by and get to know our operations. See contact details further down in the advertisement.
Before employment in patient-oriented work within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to fill in a health declaration.
We warmly welcome your application! If you need help registering in the system, contact Customer Service Support and Service, 010-103 60 00, during office hours.
To staffing, mediation, and recruitment agencies, and to you who are a salesperson:
We kindly but firmly decline direct contact with staffing, mediation, and recruitment agencies as well as other external actors and sellers of additional job advertisements. Region Östergötland has procured agreements.
