Your responsibilities

Within the home care service, you provide support and care directly in people's homes. Here you have the opportunity to truly make a difference and become a crucial part of someone's life every day. You encounter a wide variety of needs and challenges, making the work both varied and rewarding.

Your tasks are varied and based on each individual's needs. This includes nursing care and personal hygiene, cleaning, laundry, simple meal preparation, and social interaction. The role also involves certain delegated medical tasks from the nurse.

Your mobile phone is your primary work tool, showing your visits and what needs to be done. You also communicate with relatives and other stakeholders. Your commitment helps more people continue living an independent life in their own homes.

As a nurse assistant, you have the role of a permanent care contact. This means you participate in welcome meetings where you, together with the individual, plan support measures. You are responsible for implementation plans and document in the Treserva system. You participate continuously in our collaboration meetings where home care nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists also attend. Together, you maintain a dialogue regarding your assigned clients.

Your workplace

Skäggetorp Security Housing is located in Skäggetorp center with 35 apartments. The housing facility has a gym for our residents and access to a lunch restaurant. Home care services are also provided in the residential area and surroundings.

About 60 nurse assistants and care aides, two managers, three coordinators, and planners work here. The home care nurses are also located here.

Your working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and every other weekend. Typical working hours are 07:00–16:00 and 13:00–22:00.

Who you are

We are looking for you who are trained as a nurse assistant. Experience working within support, care, and social services is an advantage.

Work in elderly care involves many customer contacts and documentation, which means we require you to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish. You must have the ability to use digital tools in your work. For this position, you need to be able to cycle.

As a person, you are independent, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive your work forward. You also work well with others, listening and communicating clearly. It is also important that you have empathy, meaning you can put yourself in others' perspectives and situations.
