The Role of Site Manager As a Site Manager, you are responsible for the project's execution, from initiation to handover. This entails overall responsibility for leading the project's planning and execution regarding time, personnel, economy, quality, environment, and working environment. The role also includes creating and maintaining good relationships with employees, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. You lead and distribute tasks independently and work together with the rest of the project team to drive the project forward towards jointly set goals. In your role, you also have support from, among others, the responsible Project Manager, Project Engineer, Occupational Health and Safety Engineer, Purchaser, Tender Engineer, and HR. About Civil South Our division Civil South works with earthworks, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects. We are approximately 300 dedicated employees within our geography in Scania and Halland. Requirements Your Profile as Site Manager We are looking for you who have a construction engineering education and/or corresponding work experience. To be successful in the role of Site Manager, we see that you have good knowledge of the construction process within earthworks. Ideally, you have worked as a foreman for a number of years and are now ready to take the next step, or have a few years of experience in the Site Manager role. As a person, you are business-minded, enjoy problem-solving, and are motivated by driving efficient and profitable production. You also have the ability to create and develop good relationships. We assume that you are skilled at planning and organizing in your work and are comfortable using our digital tools.
