The Education Administration is looking for a special needs educator for the Öjebyn preschool area. Öjebyn is a family-friendly area located close to nature, approximately 5 km from central Piteå.

The Role

As a special needs educator, you will work across three preschool units: Björklunda Preschool, Kullen Preschool, and Myran Preschool.

In this role, you will become a central figure in our pedagogical team. You will work closely with the principal, educators, and guardians to create the best possible conditions for all our children. You will contribute special needs educational expertise and participate in preventive and promotional work regarding adaptations and special support for our children.

Qualifications

We require you to have a degree in special needs education. Experience working within the preschool sector is considered an advantage.

The role requires a commitment to creating good conditions for the development and learning of all children. You must be relationship-oriented and able to build secure relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You should be structured, comfortable working both independently and in a team, see opportunities in challenges, and be willing to think outside the box. The role also involves supporting and providing further training for educators in daily routines and pedagogical challenges.

Employment

Permanent position, full-time.

Start date according to agreement.

A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) is required for employment within the school.
