Maintenance Engineer – Engine Testing and Emissions Measurement

About the Role

We are looking for an engaged and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our operations in Västra Götaland County. This role combines practical work with administration and is ideal for you who thrive with varied tasks in a technologically advanced environment.

The work is primarily focused on emissions measurements in engine test cells for internal combustion engines. You will be responsible for ensuring the correlation and validation of measurement results, as well as contributing to high quality in the testing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the correlation and validation of emissions measurements in engine test cells.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for test equipment and facilities.
• Ensure high availability and operational reliability of equipment and systems.
• Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers regarding service, spare parts, and resource bookings.
• Participate in the planning and prioritization of daily tasks.
• Drive and support improvement work within maintenance, quality, and cost optimization.
• Contribute to the development and creation of procedures, standards, and working methods.
• Support work with contractors and external partners.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in fields such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, marine technology, or a similar technical area.
• At least 2–5 years of relevant work experience in maintenance, testing operations, or technical operations.
• Experience with technical measurement and testing systems is an advantage.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills and experience with technical documentation.
