Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who wants to be a key player in the development of advanced technical systems for our customers. As a Systems Engineer, you will work closely with both our customers and internal teams to create tailored solutions, being involved in the entire process from requirements specification to finished product.

As a Systems Engineer at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technical challenges, using your problem-solving skills while contributing to the development of innovative solutions. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working closely with customers and technical leaders to ensure that all solutions meet both customer and industry requirements.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to act as the hub in complex projects. You have experience in developing technical system solutions and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders. It is also important to us that you have an open attitude towards collaboration, both internally within AFRY and externally with our customers.

As a consultant at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work on both in-house projects and on-site at our customers' locations, depending on the nature of the project and your own interests and competencies.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a university degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. You have experience designing and developing technical systems and components and have worked with the entire chain from requirements specification to finished product.

Experience with requirements management, preferably with tools like Doors or similar, is advantageous. You have the ability to see the big picture and thrive with having many contact points both internally and externally. We also see you as a strong problem solver with the ability to work in teams to solve complex technical challenges.

To thrive in this role, it is important that you have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Advantageous experiences for this role include:

  • Experience within software/electronics
  • Ability to read and understand design documentation
  • Ability to work according to safety regulations and undergo necessary approvals if required for the position

As many of our positions involve work covered by defense secrecy, a security clearance with background check may be required.

We value our employees' well-being and offer secure employment with good benefits. AFRY has a strong focus on competence development, and we offer both internal and external training so that you can continue to develop within your field.
