Job Description

As the MTIT Coordinator, you provide operational support to management and operations in matters concerning technology, medical technology, and digitalization. You contribute with a holistic perspective and help the operations identify needs, evaluate opportunities, and create conditions for well-founded decisions. The role complements existing collaboration forms and contact points between the operations and the Center for Medical Technology and IT (CMIT).

The role of MTIT Coordinator exists within all centers in Region Östergötland. The assignment is relatively new and continues to develop. Therefore, we are looking for you who want to contribute to the development of working methods, collaboration, and how the MTIT support creates value for the operations.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Support the operations' managers, leadership groups, and employees in matters within technology, medical technology, and digitalization.
• Catch, analyze, and describe the operations' needs.
• Give advice and support regarding prioritization and decisions.
• Convey knowledge about CMIT's services, solutions, and opportunities.
• Create conditions for efficient information exchange between the operations and CMIT.
• Monitor the external environment and identify opportunities where technology and digitalization can support the operations' goals.
• Contribute to coordination and a holistic perspective in matters concerning several operations or supply areas.

Work Group

You are organizationally placed within the Center for Medical Technology and IT (CMIT), the Technical Support and Coordination Unit, but work on behalf of a production unit within health care. The role is part of the production unit's leadership forum based on the operations' needs.

You work closely with center management, operations managers, development functions, and other support functions. You also collaborate with service owners, administration, specialist functions, and other MTIT coordinators within Region Östergötland. The role involves many contact points and close cooperation across organizational boundaries.

You have:

• Upper secondary education.
• Good communicative skills.
• Good analytical skills and a systematic working method.
• Ability to create and develop relationships and networks.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive issues forward.
• Ability to create consensus, engagement, and progress in collaboration with others.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience from health care or other complex operations.
• Knowledge of Region Östergötland's organization and working methods.
• Knowledge of technology, medical technology, and digitalization.
• Experience in development, change, and improvement work.
