Welcome to our new workshop on Hisingen, located between Säve Airport and Stora Holm! We have opened the doors to our new facility, built to meet future needs. This means completely new and fresh premises for the workshop, storage, and staff areas. Here we offer a modern workplace with a focus on sustainability and the environment. The workshop offers services to external customers while also being a resource for Renova internally. We ensure that every employee gets not just a job, but a place where they can grow, learn, and thrive! Job Description

As a service mechanic, you will perform service and simpler repair work on trucks, construction machinery, special vehicles, and maintenance machines.

Your days will also include work within mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics on vehicles and superstructures.

The position as a service mechanic is for you who have somewhat less experience in the workshop industry. You have experienced mechanics to support you in your work, and you will receive continuous training to become more and more independent. For those who want to learn more and develop, there are good opportunities to advance with us and eventually take on the role of heavy vehicle mechanic.

The working hours apply to day shifts or evening shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a vehicle technical education within heavy vehicles or equivalent experience or knowledge. You also need to have basic computer skills.

It is also a bonus if you have:

• Some years of experience working with heavy vehicles and/or construction machinery
• A Category C driver's license
• Some knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, welding, and electronics

As a person, you are service-oriented and solution-focused. You value quality highly and are creative regarding how you approach solutions to different problems. You take personal responsibility and initiative when needed. It is also important that you value providing good service to customers, both internal and external, and that you work for good cooperation and communication with your closest colleagues. We also appreciate that you are interested in development and see opportunities for changes and improvements in the work.
