Children and Education is looking for a Crafts and Technology Teacher for the primary school in Åsele.

Responsibilities

You must be qualified to teach crafts (wood and metal) as well as technology in primary school. You will be part of the team for grades 7–9. You will serve as a mentor for a group of students and as a class teacher for grade 7, working together with two colleagues. Your responsibilities include, among other things, development conferences, parent contacts, and pedagogical development work.

Qualifications

Working with learning here means working together with others. You should have the ability to work in a team and be able to translate the school's vision into daily work. We are looking for you who are a certified teacher qualified to teach in primary school. You are engaged and dare to think new thoughts with the student's best interests in mind.

Scope

Permanent position. Start date 2026-08-12 or as agreed. Probationary period will apply. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Background check: If you are considered for the position, you must be able to provide a certificate of good conduct from the Police's criminal record register. The certificate must be valid for employment in preschool, school, after-school centers, and other pedagogical activities.
