Description

Liljaskolan is seeking a vocational teacher to instruct students in the Forestry track of the Natural Resources program, as well as in the adult education program for forest machine operators.

Responsibilities

Your role as a teacher involves planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching within the forestry education, both theoretically and practically. Depending on your qualifications and experience, you may teach courses in areas such as forest care, forest production, nature conservation, motor skills and brush cutting, as well as forestry machinery like harvesters and forwarders.

Standard duties such as mentorship, team collaboration, and participation in systematic quality work are also included in the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is engaged, inspiring, knowledgeable within the industry, and preferably has experience in teaching. You should wish to become a part of our team.

A teaching license is desirable. Experience working with youth in other capacities is an asset.

Personal suitability is highly valued.

Conditions

The position is a permanent 100% full-time role for those holding a teaching license. Without a license, it is a fixed-term appointment as an unqualified teacher at 100% for the academic year 2026/2027. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
