Åsele Municipality (Sjeltien tjïelte in Southern Sami) is a Sami administrative area, and knowledge of the Sami language is an advantage in certain professions.

Children and Education are looking for an engaged Swedish/English teacher for grades 6–9 at the primary school in Åsele.

Responsibilities

You will teach Swedish, English, and Sami (SPV) in grades 6–9 and work collaboratively in teaching teams. You will also serve as a mentor to a group of students and as one of the class coordinators for grade 8.

Qualifications

Working with learning here means working together with others. You must have the ability to work in a team and translate the school's vision into daily work. We are looking for you if you are a certified teacher. You are engaged and willing to think innovatively with the student's best interests in mind.

Scope

Full-time employment, which may lead to a permanent position. A probationary period will be applied.

Start date: 2026-08-12.
