Hemmakväll operates stores across the country and currently has nearly 600 employees in our approximately 70 stores. Our goal is to offer the best assortment with the highest quality in loose candy, packaged sweets, drinks, snacks, ice cream, and toys. We are looking for a Second-in-Command for one of our stores!

About the position

As a Second-in-Command, you are a key person in the store. You work closely with the store manager and take responsibility for operations in their absence. The role is a combination of leadership and operational work in the store.

The position is for 30 hours per week. This is a one-year temporary position with a good chance of extension.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the store manager with practical tasks and planning.
• Actively participate in sales and customer service.
• Cash handling, goods receiving, unpacking, merchandising, and stock replenishment.
• Contribute to an inspiring and well-organized store environment.

The work involves both day and evening shifts as well as weekend work, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt to the store's needs and customer flow.

About you We are looking for someone with experience in sales and retail work. You have an interest in our product areas and are passionate about providing excellent customer service. Experience with cash handling and sales is advantageous but not required.

You are goal-oriented, curious, and engaged – with a positive attitude and good teamwork skills. You thrive working in a team, are flexible, and enjoy taking responsibility. You must be at least 16 years old due to tobacco sales regulations.
