Description

If you work as a substitute for us this summer, you have a chance to receive a summer bonus.

Timrå Municipality is looking for you who want to work as a substitute in home care or elderly care facilities this summer. We are primarily looking for you who want a scheduled shift with planned working hours, but also for you who want to be an "on-call" substitute. We see it as an advantage if you can start training already during the spring.

The elderly care department consists of six home care groups, a night patrol, and four elderly care homes.

In all our operations, your tasks include, among other things:

Care can include tasks such as:

  • Hygiene and support during toilet visits
  • Dressing
  • Cleaning and laundry
  • Meal preparation/feeding

Delegated tasks you may perform:

  • Medication administration
  • Insulin administration
  • Tube feeding
  • Wound care
  • Catheter care

All new summer substitutes are offered mandatory introductory training, and depending on your experience, also medication training.

Home Care

In Timrå Municipality's home care groups, work is performed during the day, evening, and weekends. There is also a night patrol that makes visits at night to users receiving home care.

In your work, you help people in their homes. The user's needs and approved services determine your tasks.

To work in home care, delegation for medication administration is a requirement. In several of our home care groups, a driver's license is also required.

Care and Nursing Home (Elderly Care Home)

Our elderly care homes are staffed around the clock, which means you as staff may work days, evenings, weekends, or nights.

Working in a care and nursing home is similar to working in home care in many ways, but the users you meet here often have a greater need for care and nursing than those you meet in home care. You also work here in the user's home, and their needs determine your tasks.

To work in an elderly care home, we require that you can receive delegation for medication administration.

Summer Bonus, Travel Compensation, and Wellness Allowance

Conditions for summer bonus of 6,000 SEK.

  • You must work consecutively for eight weeks during one of these periods; which period depends on the operation's needs. Week 23-30, week 24-31, week 25-32, or week 26-33.
  • You may have a maximum of one instance of sick leave for up to five days.
  • You must also work equivalent to at least 75% during these eight weeks.

Travel Compensation

A travel allowance of 50 SEK is paid for each working day performed, provided you have worked 10 shifts or more during an eight-week period.

You also receive a wellness allowance.

Conditions

Hourly employment
