About the Operations
The County Operations Orthopedics is part of County Hospital Somatics and conducts both planned and emergency operations, focused on orthopedic injuries and diseases. As a resident doctor (underläkare) with us, you will have the opportunity to work independently under supervision. You are part of the patient-oriented team and work daytime Monday to Friday, primarily on the orthopedic ward. Here you work together with medical colleagues and other professional categories to ensure safe and secure care for the patient during their stay with us.
We at the Orthopedic Clinic in Örnsköldsvik are looking for two resident doctors. Both non-licensed and licensed resident doctors are welcome to apply. The form of employment and tasks will follow the respective position. The positions are for a fixed-term full-time employment for 6 months, with start date according to agreement.
Tasks
The tasks will include among others:
- Working primarily on the ward as a resident doctor (licensed or non-licensed) with standard ward duties supported by a senior physician
- Participate in ward rounds
- Be involved in planning, decision-making, and execution of care measures
- Care planning and documentation of care work
- Contact with relatives
- Admission and discharge of patients
For licensed resident doctors, on-call duties may also become relevant.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who
- Are a trained doctor or a licensed doctor
- Have previous work experience in healthcare professions
- Have Swedish language skills in speech and writing at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale
It is meritorious if you
- Have previous experience of orthopedic care within Swedish healthcare
