As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to work in operations where material supply, delivery security, and efficient procurement processes are central to the business. About the role

As an operational buyer, you are a central part of the customer's daily procurement work. You ensure that the right materials, components, and services are available at the right time, in the right quality, and at the right cost.

The role involves close collaboration with production, planning, logistics, warehousing, and suppliers. You work in a technically advanced environment where high delivery precision, good communication, and a proactive approach are crucial for success.

Depending on the assignment, you may work with:

• Order placement, order confirmations, and daily handling of procurement flows.
• Material planning and needs analysis based on forecasts, production plans, and inventory status.
• Delivery monitoring and exception handling, including actions in case of delays or quality-related issues.
• Ongoing contact with national and international suppliers to ensure delivery precision and good communication.
• Updating item data, prices, and supplier information in business systems.
• Support in negotiations and price discussions for recurring purchases.
• Follow-up on KPIs such as delivery security, lead times, inventory levels, and material availability.
• Collaboration with production, planning, and logistics to ensure efficient material flows.
• Contributing to improvement work within procurement processes, routines, and ways of working.

As a consultant, you will work in different organizations and environments, giving you valuable experience and a strong network within procurement and supply chain.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are structured, service-oriented, and confident in handling daily procurement processes. You thrive in a role where you can combine administration, communication, and problem-solving, and you have an easy time building good relationships both internally and externally.

We would like you to have:

• A university or university college education in procurement, logistics, economics, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in operational procurement, material planning, order management, or similar tasks.
• Good understanding of procurement flows, material supply, and supply chain processes.
• Experience from manufacturing industry, production, or technical operations is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with business systems, such as SAP or similar ERP systems, is an advantage.
• Good skills in Excel.

As a person, you are meticulous, unpretentious, and solution-oriented. You thrive in changing environments and have the ability to quickly get up to speed with new systems, products, and ways of working.
