We are currently looking for junior operational buyers who wish to develop within procurement, material supply, and supply chain through exciting consulting assignments with leading players in technology, industry, and production.

As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in a business where delivery security, quality, and efficient material flows are central to the operation. You will work in an international environment with modern processes and advanced products, while developing your skills in operational procurement and the supply chain.

About the role

As a junior operational buyer, you work close to the operations and support daily procurement activities. You become an important part of the supply chain and contribute to ensuring that materials, components, and services are available when needed to ensure efficient production and high delivery precision.

You will collaborate with several internal functions such as production, planning, logistics, and warehousing, as well as maintain ongoing contact with national and international suppliers.

Depending on the assignment, you may work with:

• Placing and following up on purchase orders.
• Delivery monitoring and contact with suppliers regarding order status and delivery security.
• Administration and updating of information in business systems.
• Handling discrepancies and support in complaint cases.
• Support in material planning and follow-up of deliveries.
• Collaboration with functions within production, planning, logistics, and warehousing.
• Follow-up on material availability and delivery precision.
• Creation of analyses and reports related to procurement, material supply, and supply chain.
• Participation in improvement work within procurement processes and methods.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is curious, structured, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating with others, have a strong interest in procurement, logistics, and material supply, and are motivated by learning new things and developing in your professional role.

We would like you to have:

• A university or university college degree in procurement, logistics, economics, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent.
• Up to three years of experience in procurement, administration, logistics, planning, or a similar field.
• Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with business systems is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Experience from manufacturing industry, production, or technical operations is an advantage.

As a person, you are meticulous, unpretentious, and responsible. You have an easy time building relationships, thrive in a changing environment, and see opportunities rather than obstacles.
