We are looking for an engaged Mechanic to join our maintenance team

– Make a difference in our production!

As a Mechanic at Sofidel Sweden, you will become an important part of our maintenance team, focusing on maintaining a high technical standard and maximizing production availability. Together with your colleagues, you will work to ensure that our operations maintain high quality and efficiency through proactive and swift action in the event of any downtime.

What we look for in you as a person:

We are looking for someone with a strong desire to contribute to the company's success and who takes great responsibility for their work. You should be able to work independently but also be a team player who values collaboration and communication. Since priorities can change quickly, you need to be flexible and able to handle changes with a positive attitude.

Your experience and knowledge:

To thrive in this role, we would like you to have experience and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Machining and welding (MIG, TIG, arc welding)

It is an advantage if you also have experience with:

  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Bearing installation

Working hours and employment:

This position is a full-time permanent employment under a collective agreement, and the working hours follow a rolling five-week schedule where you work an average of 38 hours per week:

  • Wk 1: 07:00–16:00
  • Wk 2: 07:00–16:00
  • Wk 3: 07:00–16:00
  • Wk 4: 07:00–16:00
  • Wk 5: 14:00–22:00 (Monday-Thursday, Friday off)

Wk 5: On-call Mon-Thu 22:00 – 06:00, Fri 16:00 – Mon 06:00
