ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are now looking for a Material Specialist who wants to combine practical laboratory work with responsibility for material data in a modern PLM system. You will become part of a specialist function responsible for supporting the organization with material-related questions and ensuring that material information is handled correctly throughout the entire product development process.

In this role, you will work closely with development, quality, and production functions while contributing material technical expertise to investigations, analyses, and improvement work. You will be an important part of the company's material laboratory, where the focus is on understanding material properties, identifying causes behind deviations, and contributing to future product development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer, structure, and ensure the quality of material data in Teamcenter
• Manage material cards, classifications, and ensure compliance with internal requirements
• Perform material technical analyses and testing in a laboratory environment
• Participate in failure analyses, deviation investigations, and complaint cases
• Verify material properties and provide technical recommendations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, quality, and production on material-related questions

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have a university or master's degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, or a corresponding field
• Have experience with material management in PLM systems, preferably Teamcenter
• Have experience from a material laboratory through work, thesis, or internship
• Have good material technical understanding of polymeric materials and/or metals
• Have experience or interest in quality investigations, failure analyses, or complaint handling
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English as both languages are used in daily work

It is not necessary, but meritorious if you have:

• Experience with material characterization and laboratory equipment
• Worked with quality-related investigations or field problems
• Experience from manufacturing industry or product development

At the same time, you are flexible and enjoy switching between administrative system work and practical work in a laboratory environment. Since you will collaborate with several different functions, we also see that you are communicative and have an easy time building good relationships.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will be employed by Friday.
