About the role

Ikett is now looking for an Operational Technician for our client in Finspång! In this role, you will have primary responsibility for a robot grinding cell, specifically a KUKA robot, in a department that manufactures shovels and guide rails for turbines. As an Operational Technician, you have overall responsibility for the robot grinding cell and work in a combined role as both technician and operator. The technical part of the role involves creating the right conditions for stable and efficient production. You work with programming of the robot cell, develop and optimize tools, fixtures, and work processes, and are responsible for commissioning new components. You collaborate closely with functions such as design, maintenance, quality, and purchasing to ensure that production runs efficiently and maintains high quality. The operational part involves being responsible for the daily operation of the robot cell. You plan and run production according to current orders, monitor the process, ensure the quality of the finished components, and perform ongoing maintenance of the equipment. The role also includes active work with continuous improvements and streamlining of existing working methods. If needed, you also support the manual grinding department. The start date for the position is immediate or as agreed. Working hours are currently during the day, but shift work may change depending on needs.

Your profile

We would like you to have:

  • Experience with programming and/or industrial automation, such as robot programming.
  • Experience from manufacturing industry or automated production.
  • Good computer skills and experience with Office packages as well as business systems, such as SAP.
  • A structured approach to work and a strong focus on quality.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • A forklift license is required for the position.
