Hydro Extrusion in Finspång is now looking for a skilled and responsible mechanic with experience in metalworking / CNC to join the maintenance department. Here you are offered day-time work in a cohesive team focused on safe operations, structure, and collaboration.

• Working hours: Daytime (on-call duties may be included in the role in the future)

• Employment type: Direct recruitment with an initial probationary period with the client

• Start date: As agreed

As a maintenance mechanic, you will become part of an experienced team of approximately 10–15 people responsible for maintaining the entire machinery fleet within machining. The role involves broad mechanical responsibilities where you work both preventively and reactively, with a high focus on safety, quality, and operational reliability.

Your responsibilities:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment

• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems

• Participation in improvement work and technical projects

• Documentation of completed work and machine status

• On-call service according to schedule after induction

About you

We are looking for you who are a positive, structured, and responsible mechanic with a genuine interest in maintenance work. You work methodically, are self-reliant, and have a high focus on safety and quality. Collaboration and team spirit are important to you, as is taking personal responsibility and making decisions in daily work. You are meticulous, orderly, and have the ability to maintain a good pace even when there is a lot to do.

Formal qualifications

• Category B driver's license and access to a car

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Upper secondary education with a focus on maintenance technology, industry, or equivalent

• Experience working as a maintenance mechanic in the industry

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work

Meritorious qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

• Experience with welding

• Experience working with machining centers or CNC equipment
