PYROTEK SCANDINAVIA AB is a subsidiary of Pyrotek Inc., headquartered in the USA. We manufacture and market consumables, refractory castables, and mechanical equipment primarily for the aluminum industry in Scandinavia.

The unit in Ed has just over 40 employees and is located in Hökedalen outside of Ed in Dalsland. We are currently looking for a toolmaker for the manufacturing and processing of both new and existing casting molds for our production. For further information about the company, see www.pyrotek.com/

Responsibilities and personal qualities

Your main tasks will be to maintain, modify, and produce new casting molds for our production. The molds are primarily made of PVC, metal, expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam), and 3D-printed parts. As a toolmaker, you must be able to read and interpret drawings, as well as be inventive and meticulous.

Education and experience

Examples of suitable education include workshop mechanic or patternmaker.

Knowledge of technical drawing and Swedish is required.

Experience from tool manufacturing or jobbing production in industry is advantageous.

Forklift license and training in safe lifting are advantageous.

You should be flexible and self-motivated.
