To our facility in Vara, we are hiring several seasonal employees for various tasks. We offer a varied and enjoyable job from August to September with a great group of colleagues!

We are recruiting for the following positions:

• Grain Receiving – Control and monitoring of the process during unloading, drying, cleaning, and storage of grain.

• Sampling – Registering incoming grain deliveries and taking samples for the laboratory.

• Laboratory – Performing grain analyses to ensure quality.

• Forklift Operator – Moving and handling of grain.

• Night Staff – Control and monitoring of drying, cleaning, and storage during night shifts.

About Us:

Varaslättens Lagerhus was founded in 1930 and is an economic association owned by approximately 1,930 members who are grain producers in western Sweden. The association dries, stores, and trades grain, and together with our members, we produce attractive products for the milling and feed industries. The association has a turnover of approximately 1.1 billion SEK and handles about 300,000 tons of grain per year. Our grain handling is distributed across two facilities, one in Vara and one in Tråvad, along with our own fleet of six trucks. We also sell seed, plant nutrients, energy, and crop protection products, supported by well-developed advisory services. We have 42 employees, and our staff is a competent, engaged, and tightly knit team.
