On behalf of our client, we are now looking for you who have a previous background/experience of working in the timber industry, as a timber and wood processing worker, or experience in a sector considered relevant by the employer.

Your responsibilities:

As a timber processor, you will be part of a team in the machine workshop where your tasks include cutting, planing, splitting, and gluing. Here you will also work with precious wood, which means you will also sort the material according to quality and plan and organize the work for the next person in the process.

Your profile

As a person, you are careful and structured with a sense for detail.

Our client is a premium brand and works with expensive first-class materials, so it is important that you as a candidate have a sense for quality where order and tidiness are a must. You are a person who works carefully and efficiently and does not get stressed by working at a high pace. Quality does not exclude your contribution to a certain work rhythm. Furthermore, you have no problem working independently, as well as in a group where social skills are required. Your physical condition is very good and you are happy to use it as your most important tool in work.

We prefer that you have previously worked in production, industry, or a comparable sector considered relevant by the employer.

• Car and driver's license
• Overhead crane license

It is an advantage if you have a forklift license and overhead crane license. Please state your qualifications in your application.

We are now looking for a careful and hardworking timber industry worker for our client in the timber industry in Borås. Are you a handy person with experience in assembly and reading drawings? Then this could be the job for you!

About the position

In the role of timber industry worker, you will work with cutting, sanding, and gluing of wood details as well as assembly of frames and details. You will also be responsible for assembling wood products and handling machines such as sanders, cutters, and presses. The work takes place in a workshop environment where dust, gluing, and machine use may occur. The company offers a good working environment, a structured introduction, and an opportunity to develop within the profession. The scope is 100% and you work daytime.

About you

• Education or experience as a carpenter

Previous experience in the construction of wood products.
