Job Description

Job Title: Clearance Broker (Customs Broker) – FedEx Arlanda

We are currently looking for two employees to join our export department at our Arlanda operations.

As a Clearance Broker, you will work closely with authorities and ensure that correct information is provided in our customs declarations.

You will prepare and compile formal documentation electronically using our internal data systems for all incoming and outgoing cargo to/from countries outside the EU.

Strong communication skills are required as there is regular customer contact via phone and email. Experience working in a fast-paced office environment is preferred, as we adhere to and work towards critical deadlines every day.

You are solution-oriented and driven by delivering excellent service.

Education and Skills

We provide training on the use of our internal data systems, as well as external training to ensure that our customs declarations meet the requirements for us as agents.

You need to be computer literate and have good manual dexterity. Previous experience in the industry, customs expertise, and other administrative tasks are considered meritorious.

Working Hours

Afternoon/Evening, 13:00–21:00.

Minimum Requirements

• Education at the upper secondary level.
• Fluent Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, are required.
• Proficiency in the Office suite.

To work in a security-classified area like Arlanda, certain criteria must be met:

• Extract from the criminal record.
• Security check via the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen).
• No gaps in your CV longer than 28 days within a five-year period.

About the Position

• Salary type: Fixed monthly or hourly wage according to collective agreement.
• We apply a 6-month probation period.
• Opportunity for hybrid work 2 days a week.
