ValueOne is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator for a consulting assignment with a leading company in medical technology and healthcare in northern Stockholm. The assignment starts on August 24th and runs until October 16th. The position is part-time (minimum 50%).

About the role

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating purchasing and supplier-related activities as our client decommissions their clinic in Stockholm. You report to the Head of Supply Chain and work closely with a small purchasing team. The role requires you to quickly create structure and overview of contracts, suppliers, and ongoing commitments, ensuring that terminations, closures, and potential renegotiations are handled according to current terms and timeframes.

Main responsibilities

• Inventorize all contracts related to the clinic (rent, leasing, service agreements, IT, medical technology, etc.)
• Ensure terminations and renegotiations according to agreed terms and deadlines
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding return, relocation, or closure
• Manage leased equipment
• Ensure compliance, especially for medical technology and patient-record-related equipment
• Collaborate with internal functions such as finance, IT, HR, and operations
• Monitor costs and avoid unnecessary ongoing expenses

Experience and qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supplier management who thrives in a coordinating role with many contact points. You have good experience handling and interpreting contracts and have previously worked with project management or coordination in some form. Furthermore, you have the ability to quickly create structure and overview in complex situations and communicate with both internal and external parties. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is considered an advantage. It is also meritorious if you have experience with decommissioning, relocation, or change management, as well as knowledge of leasing agreements and different service models.

To succeed in this role, you are an independent and proactive person who takes responsibility and drives your work forward. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, with a good ability to prioritize and handle multiple activities in parallel. You are solution-oriented and have a sharp eye for risks and deadlines, while being systematic in your documentation and follow-up. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
