As a consultant within the Raw Material & Steel Parts team, you will have overall responsibility for purchasing-related activities, with a special focus on cold and hot stamped parts. This is the role for you if you love strategic challenges and want to drive business from analysis to final contract.

Responsibilities

In the role of Buyer, you lead and support cross-functional sourcing projects and market tests. You navigate through the entire purchasing process – from preparation and implementation to analysis, negotiation, and supplier selection.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Strategic Negotiation: Conduct market analyses and identify optimal negotiation tactics for both new projects and existing production.
• Sustainability & Contracts: Ensure that supplier selection and contract management meet high demands for sustainability and professionalism.
• Proactive Collaboration: Challenge the status quo and work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to find the most effective solutions.
• Business Management: Handle ongoing business matters in a high-paced environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who dares to question established patterns and has the drive to build a deep understanding of both the market and technology. You are a skilled analyst who thrives on handling multiple parallel projects without losing focus on the details.

Your background:

• Education: Academic degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing/procurement.
• Advantageous: Previous experience as a buyer in the automotive industry is highly beneficial.
• Language: Fluent English in both speech and writing is a requirement, combined with excellent communication skills.
