As a Sales Project Manager Retrofit at TGW, you will play a key role in developing and selling modernization solutions to both existing and new customers. Here, you combine business acumen, technical understanding, and project management to create long-term value for customers in a constantly evolving industry.
About the role
As a Sales Project Manager Retrofit, you are responsible for the sales process regarding retrofit and modernization projects. You drive the bidding process from initial customer contact to a finished offer, ensuring that the solutions meet the customer's needs both technically and commercially.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting the identification of new retrofit business opportunities, as well as developing relationships with both new and existing customers
- Contributing to the development of business strategies to identify and process customers with potential for modernization projects
- Managing the quotation and bidding process, from inquiry to final offer
- Developing sales strategies for complex decision-making processes and creating accurate cost calculations
- Coordinating and compiling documentation from internal departments, subcontractors, and partners
- Ensuring that proposed solutions are complete, competitive, and adapted to the customer's operations
- Planning and monitoring timelines, resources, and costs for bidding projects
- Working systematically in the CRM system and ensuring processes are followed
- Gathering feedback from customers on lost deals to strengthen future offers
- Contributing to and representing TGW's culture, values, and way of working

We are looking for you who:
To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- Several years of experience in a similar role within sales, pre-sales, solution design, or technical project management
- Experience in automation and/or intralogistics, preferably from work with automated warehouse, material handling, or logistics solutions - this is highly meritorious
- Documented experience in leading bidding and quotation processes
- Ability to build, develop, and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Experience in handling multiple parallel business opportunities and projects simultaneously
- Good understanding of complex sales and long decision-making processes
- Strong communication skills and experience presenting solutions to various stakeholders
- A structured working approach with high attention to detail and business sense
- Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
