We are now looking for a service and installation technician with a focus on welding and piping systems. Here you will work practically with the installation, service, and adaptation of technical equipment within water purification.

About the role

In this role, you will work with the installation, commissioning, service, and modification of our client's machinery at their customers' sites. The position involves greater responsibility for piping systems and welding tasks in the projects.

The work takes place in industrial environments and involves regular travel within Sweden, as well as to Norway and Denmark when needed. You will work in teams and maintain ongoing customer contact.

Working hours:

• Monday–Wednesday: 07:00–19:00
• Thursday: 07:00–12:30

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of machinery
• Welding and adaptation of piping systems
• Service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Modifications in existing facilities
• Work with pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment
• Reading technical drawings and documentation
• Material ordering and basic planning
• Customer contact in connection with assignments

We are looking for someone who

• Has technical education at least at the upper secondary level or equivalent experience
• Has experience with pipe welding in industrial or water/sewage environments
• Has experience welding stainless steel and black materials
• Has experience with TIG welding in stainless steel piping systems
• Can work independently based on drawings
• Has practical experience adapting and connecting systems in existing facilities

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Good familiarity with tools
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Comfortable with traveling work assignments

Welding licenses or certifications are meritorious but not mandatory.

Additional information

The work is performed on-site at the customer's location, so you must thrive in a role with significant customer contact and varying work environments.

The location is flexible, and you do not need to be resident in Borås to be considered for the position.
