We are now looking for an engaged meal assistant for the receiving kitchen at Ellen Keyskolan's lower secondary school.

We work with a focus on quality, service, and good treatment, where the meal is an important part of the school day. You will work in a receiving kitchen at the lower secondary level in a small team consisting of two people, where you together create a pleasant, safe, and well-functioning meal environment for students and staff.

As a meal assistant in the receiving kitchen, your tasks will include among other things:

• Receive and prepare delivered meals
• Serve lunch and be responsible for the salad bar
• Dishwashing and cleaning according to current routines
• Work in diet data programs
• Ensure that food hygiene and self-control are followed
• Contribute to a pleasant meal environment
• Provide a professional and service-oriented treatment to students and colleagues

You are an important part of creating a positive and welcoming experience around the meal.

We are looking for you who have experience working in kitchens, preferably in large-scale kitchens or school meal operations. You have a restaurant education at the upper secondary level or equivalent, or alternatively experience that the employer considers equivalent.

We would like you to have good knowledge of food hygiene and self-control as well as knowledge of special diets. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, and basic computer skills.

As a person, you have good cooperation skills and a positive attitude. You are service-oriented, responsible, and meticulous in your work, and enjoy working with children and young people.
