Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to advanced robotics and mechanical engineering projects. The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing mechanical systems, machinery, equipment, and products while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project objectives.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical expertise, and independently manage complex engineering tasks requiring sound judgment and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and improve mechanical systems, equipment, and product solutions in accordance with project requirements.
• Lead and execute engineering activities across multiple disciplines while ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.
• Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Utilize engineering software and computer-based tools for technical analysis, reporting, simulations, and documentation.
• Perform independent engineering assessments by applying established engineering principles, methodologies, and industry standards.
• Plan, organize, and oversee complex engineering assignments involving one or more technical disciplines.
• Conduct advanced technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and engineering investigations to support design decisions.
• Prepare practical recommendations based on engineering best practices, commercial considerations, regulatory requirements, and applicable compliance standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through innovation, optimization, and technical problem-solving.

Required Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline with more than 6 years of relevant professional experience, OR
• Alternative technical qualification with 15+ years of relevant industry experience.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Equivalent technical qualification with substantial industry experience may also be considered.
