Flexit continues to develop future solutions for energy-efficient indoor climate. We are now looking for a Development Engineer in Control Systems for our primary development department in Töcksfors.

In this role, you work closely with product development and are involved from idea to technical solution. You contribute system competence in control engineering and control systems for our products and play a central role in developing the next generation of solutions within heating and indoor climate.

About the Role

As a Development Engineer in Control Systems, you work in Flexit's innovation and primary development department, which is part of the product development organization.

Here, we work at an early stage of development, creating technical concepts and solutions that are later implemented in our products. You contribute competence in control systems, control engineering, and system architecture, working closely with developers and external collaboration partners within mechanics, electronics, and software.

Examples of tasks:

• Develop requirement and functional specifications for control systems.
• Participate in the development of control systems and software for heat pumps and equipment for heat and cold distribution.
• Contribute competence in control engineering and system design.
• Work with concept development in early product development phases.
• Test and verify software and hardware in simulation, lab environments, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with developers and external partners within mechanics, electronics, and software.
• Participate in innovation projects and technology development.

You will become part of a cross-functional development team where several technical areas and external competence environments collaborate to create the products of the future.

The position is located in Töcksfors.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a strong interest in technology and enjoy working with complex systems and technical solutions.

You likely have an engineering degree in areas such as:

• Computer Science / Data Technology
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechatronics
• Technical Physics
• Or a corresponding field

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Control systems or control engineering
• Heat pump systems or energy systems
• Product development
• System integration between hardware and software

As a person, you are analytical and structured with good problem-solving skills. You thrive in cross-functional teams and find it easy to collaborate with different competencies.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
