About the Department

We at Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in Sundsvall are currently looking for Nursing Assistants (Undersköterskor) to join us for the summer of 2026. We provide family-centered care for children aged 0–18 across all professions. We are a strong team consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, play therapists, counselors, and others, working collaboratively. Everyone is involved in the care of the children. As a nursing assistant on our ward, you are part of a team where we work together for good nursing care and family-centered care. There is an opportunity for orientation starting from March 1st, where we can plan according to your needs and availability.

The positions are for full-time temporary assignments with start date by agreement until 2026-08-31.

Responsibilities

• Ward work
• Family-centered nursing care for the sick child
• Knowledge of the technical equipment we use, including setting up, using, and cleaning.
• Sample collection
• Observations
• Rounds and reporting

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are trained as a nursing assistant (Undersköterska)
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have further education as a pediatric nursing assistant specialist
• Have previous experience working with children and adolescents
• Have previous experience with ward care in a hospital setting
• Have additional language skills
