We are looking for a Construction Manager (Signaling) for Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration).

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Uppsala.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close cooperation with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

Participate in the planning of the production phase and act as a construction manager for road and railway-related projects as a resource reinforcement in the client's project organization. The work is carried out in close cooperation with the project manager, where the client is responsible for the overall planning and control of the project while the contractors are responsible for the implementation of their respective contracts.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the contractor's production work and support the project manager with technical competence to ensure progress.
• Act as a sounding board for both the client and the contractor.
• Contribute to production planning in close cooperation with the project manager.
• Perform administrative work such as quantity surveying.
• Be responsible for economic follow-up.
• Conduct meeting minutes.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer to the client's employees regarding the tasks performed within the assignment.

Requirements (Mandatory)

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• Experience from working in project groups where coordination was important.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• At least 3 years of work experience (as a construction manager or in a supervisory role such as production manager, site supervisor, site manager, or equivalent in construction/infrastructure projects) within the relevant technical area. The work experience must not be older than 10 years.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and prescriptions within the relevant area.
• The consultant must have completed BAS-ÅSKYDD (Safety, Environment, and Occupational Health) training.
• At least 3 years of experience as a construction manager or in a supervisory role, with at least 70% of that time spent working in the client organization during the production phase of a railway project involving the new construction of a state railway with a total project cost of at least 250 MSEK. The work experience must not be older than 10 years.
• At least 3 years of work experience as a construction manager or in a supervisory role from projects involving the reconstruction of various types of signaling interlockings. The work experience must not be older than 15 years.
• At least 3 years of experience as a signaling technician, and the resource must have SISÄ qualification.
• Knowledge of AB04, ABT06, and ABK09.
• Knowledge of AMA, RA, and MER infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of Trafikverket's regulations for railways (TDOK, TRVINFRA).

Merits

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a construction manager or in a supervisory role, with at least 70% of that time spent working in the client organization during the production phase of a railway project involving the new construction of a state railway with a total project cost of at least 250 MSEK.
• You have worked as a construction manager in projects where the interlocking system was changed from 85 to 95.
