Do you want to work on technically advanced projects in an environment where safety, quality, and precision are at the core? We are now looking for a Construction Engineer for exciting assignments related to Forsmark.

Here you will have the opportunity to work on both small and large projects alongside senior colleagues in an experienced team with high technical competence.

About the role

You will become part of a larger group consisting of several senior specialists. The team is primarily based in Gävle, but there is also the possibility to work from the office in Uppsala, Västerås, or Stockholm. The work is conducted in a project format and involves design, dimensioning, calculations, and documentation within construction and infrastructure in an industrial environment with high safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform design work and develop technical solutions
• Produce drawings and accompanying documentation
• Perform dimensioning and technical calculations
• Work in accordance with current design regulations and standards
• Participate in projects and collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines
• Communicate solutions and technical documentation to clients and colleagues

Requirements

• University College degree (YH), Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Construction Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in construction engineering or construction-related calculations
• Experience with design, dimensioning, and technical documentation
• Good knowledge of design regulations and standards
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from the nuclear power industry
• Experience from operations with high safety requirements
• FEM calculations within construction and engineering
• Experience with Adina, Abaqus, or similar software
