We are looking for a Construction Manager for Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration).

This is a consulting assignment. The location of employment is Uppsala.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

To be involved in the planning of the production phase and to act as a Construction Manager for both road and railway-related projects. The role involves working as additional resources within the project organization, where the overall planning and control of the project are handled by the client, while each contractor is responsible for the control and execution of their own contract.

The work with production planning is carried out in close collaboration with the Project Manager. The resource should actively participate in the contractor's production work and support the Project Manager with technical competence to ensure progress. The role also involves acting as a sounding board for both the client and the contractor.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning of the production phase for road and railway-related projects.
• Act as a Construction Manager within road and railway projects.
• Work as additional resources within the project organization.
• Carry out production planning in close collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Actively participate in the contractor's production work.
• Support the Project Manager with technical competence to ensure progress.
• Act as a sounding board for both the client and the contractor.
• Carry out quantity surveying.
• Conduct economic follow-up.
• Be responsible for minute-taking.
• Transfer knowledge to employees within the organization regarding the tasks performed within the assignment.

Requirements (Note, mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Category B driver's license.

At least 3 years of work experience (as a Construction Manager or in a supervisory role such as Production Manager, Site Supervisor, Site Manager, or equivalent in construction/infrastructure projects) within the relevant technical area. The work experience must not be older than 10 years.

Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and prescriptions within the relevant area.

The consultant must have completed BAS-A/S training.

Requirement of at least 5 years of work experience as a Construction Manager or in a supervisory role in projects within state railways where the coordination function has been an essential part of the assignment.

At least 3 years of experience as a Construction Manager, with at least 70% of the time spent working in the client organization during the production phase of a railway project involving new construction of state railways, with a total project cost of at least 250 MSEK.

Knowledge of AB04, ABT06, and ABK09.

Knowledge of AMA, RA, and MER infrastructure.

Good knowledge of Trafikverket's regulations for railways (TDOK, TRVINFRA).

Meritorious Qualifications

You have worked as a Construction Manager with at least 70% time allocation in a client organization during the production phase of a railway project involving new construction of state railways. The project's total cost has amounted to at least 250 MSEK.

You have worked for at least 3 years as a Construction Manager with at least 70% time allocation spent working in the client organization during the production phase of a railway project involving new construction of state railways, with a total project cost of at least 250 MSEK.

You have worked on a project involving ground reinforcement in the form of KC columns.

You have worked on projects regarding new construction, extension, or reconstruction of public water and sewerage facilities.
