About the job

As Unit and Security Administrator at Sida's security unit, you are responsible for administration, meeting support, and management-related business planning and follow-up. You work closely with the unit manager, who is also the security manager, and other colleagues in the unit to contribute to smooth operations and adherence to routines. You handle and contribute to the development of administrative processes related to, among other things, security clearance checks, travel security, incident management, as well as contract and passport management. You are part of an experienced team with security specialists and work at our office in Rissne, Sundbyberg.

Responsibilities

  • Support the unit manager in planning and follow-up of operations and contribute to structure, order, and foresight in the unit's work.
  • Coordinate and administer the authority's security clearance process.
  • Handle administration and support for operations related to travel security, incident, passport, and contract management.
  • Update information on the intranet within the unit's areas of responsibility.
  • Other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • Upper secondary education (Gymnasium)

Languages

  • Good knowledge of Swedish

Work experience and skills

  • Experience in administrative work.
  • Good proficiency in working with digital work tools, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience handling various tasks and being able to prioritize independently, sometimes under time pressure.

The following qualifications are meritorious for this role

  • Experience in security administration or other security work.
  • Experience working based on security rules and routines, for example regarding information handling.
  • Experience working with case management systems.
  • Experience working in the state, region, or municipality sector.
  • Experience from international development cooperation.
