About the job

Position: Acting Team Leader Bakery, permanent position, 35 hours per week, probationary period applies.

Start date: According to agreement.

Working hours: Early mornings, late evenings, and weekends occur as a natural part of the work.

We welcome applicants of all ages, but due to the Swedish Work Environment Act, you must be at least 18 years old to work in the bakery department.

You put the finishing touches on the customer experience

You have the chance to make a big impact on our customers' visits, so you have an important task in making the customer experience smooth and pleasant. This can mean a friendly smile, an unexpected question, or a helpful attitude, so that the customer finds their way in the store. You should ensure that the customer leaves happy – and preferably with an extra item in the basket and a good feeling!

What will you do?

Every day brings new meetings and challenges, but some of your main tasks are:

  • Ensure that customers leave the store with a smile (and perhaps an extra item or new inspiration).
  • Work with baking and production of everything from sourdough bread to princess cakes.
  • Handle customer orders, restock goods, and create a pleasant store environment with order and cleanliness.
  • Contribute to offering our customers a fresh and inspiring bakery department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues throughout the store – we are a team and help out where needed!

Who are you?

You are a natural problem solver who likes speed and action. A friendly hello and an extra helping hand are second nature to you. Do you have a great interest in baking? Super! If you have previous experience from a bakery/pastry shop – even better!

We believe that you:

  • Have a high school education and master Swedish in speech and writing. Since our customers speak more languages than that, it is fantastic if you do too.
  • Have previous experience/education in bakery or pastry, which is meritorious.
  • Love meeting customers and believe that service should be genuine and engaged.
  • Enjoy doing things together and contribute energy and joy.
  • Are curious, solution-oriented, and see when something needs to be done, and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get it done!
