Scandic Anglais is the hotel located right in the heart of the city action at Stureplan!
Scandic Anglais is located in central Stockholm, next to the vibrant Stureplan and the lush Humlegården park. The neighborhoods around the hotel feature Stockholm's best shopping streets and the center of Stockholm's nightlife. At our hotel, guests can enjoy the pulse of Stureplan in our popular Bar Anglais, where laptop work alternates with classic bar dishes and lively after-work gatherings. During the summer, our guests can also visit our rooftop bar with views over the rooftops and the greenery of Humlegården.

We are now looking for a Receptionist for Scandic Anglais.
No matter why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team and create a world-class guest experience.
Here, you will take significant personal responsibility for making the decisions required to ensure guest satisfaction. The team develops and improves working methods and service as the external world changes. What does the role entail?
You who work in the reception are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the hub of the wheel, ensuring the guest is always the focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. You ensure that guest requests are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your lips and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most things and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a happy one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. The area of responsibility also includes administrative work, security work, and sales work.
Working in the reception involves checking hotel guests in and out, welcoming them, and providing them with the information they need for their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.
The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working in shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
Who are you?
To fit the role, we believe you have a well-developed social skill and are capable of handling multiple things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
You also have experience and knowledge in working with computers as a work tool.
Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is an advantage.
Most important of all, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and non-hierarchical team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
