We are now looking for a Technical Tester for our client, the Swedish Transport Administration (Transportstyrelsen).

Requirements Profile

The assignment primarily involves technical testing and administration within the IT department, but may also include work in other product areas, projects, or departments at the Swedish Transport Administration as needed. The role consists of helping to manage test tools, ensuring they function correctly, defining how to work with them, and contributing to updates. You will provide tool support to other testers, help them get started, and find solutions to new testing challenges. The assignment also includes contributing to competence networks for testers and test tool users within the organization. You will support teams and testers in building test automation and, preferably, assist in building load and performance testing. In addition to the above, practical testing will be part of the development team's work.

OBSERVE: The assignment is classified security-sensitive, and the consultant will undergo a security clearance check before the assignment starts.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4 years of experience testing in a Microsoft environment within the last six years.
• At least 2 years of experience with Test Automation – evaluating and introducing new tools within the last four years.
• At least 2 years of experience with tool administration (test tools, updates, configuration, supporting others in tool usage, etc.) within the last four years.
• Experience mentoring other employees within the testing competence area.
• At least 1 year of practical experience as a software developer within the last 10 years.
• At least 2 years of experience with assignments carried out using agile working methods.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• The assignment must be performed at the Swedish Transport Administration's premises in Örebro. No compensation is provided for travel to and from the workplace.
• A Visual Studio license with MSDN at the specified level is required for the assignment. The supplier covers the cost of the Test Professional license.
• The consultant must be aware that the assignment requires undergoing a security clearance check before starting.

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS (Merits)

• Added value if the consultant has at least one year of practical experience in load and performance testing within the last six years.
• Added value if the consultant has at least one year of practical experience building frameworks for test automation within the last four years.
• Added value if the consultant has experience holding seminars for small groups.
• Added value if the consultant has at least one year of practical experience working in Azure DevOps Server within the last four years.
• Added value if the consultant has experience with Security Testing (according to OWASP Testing Guide).
