We are now looking for two engaged Section Managers for our product areas UTAAS and Trackfire – a role for you who is driven by leadership, complex projects, and strategic collaboration in an international environment.

Your Role

As a Section Manager for Project Management within UTAAS or Trackfire, you will hold a central role in a high-tech and societally important operation. You are responsible for a section of approximately 10–15 employees, consisting of project managers, planners, and financial administrators, who together drive and deliver customer contracts within their respective product areas.

The role involves close and operational leadership where you coach, develop, and support the team in both daily activities and long-term development. You work actively with project control, resource planning, and coordination between different projects to ensure quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

You will also:

• Lead and develop the section's employees and working methods
• Be responsible for the execution and delivery of complex customer projects
• Support project managers in strategic and operational matters
• Drive improvement work within project methodology and processes
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders in an international environment
• Contribute to business development and long-term planning within the operation

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a confident and inspiring leader with experience leading teams in complex project and technology environments. You have a strong business focus, good strategic ability, and are driven by developing both the business and people.

You are accustomed to working closely with operations while also being able to look up and create structure in complex contexts. With a coaching leadership style, you create engagement, clarity, and collaboration within the team.

We would like you to have:

• An academic education in engineering, economics, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in leadership within project or product development operations
• Experience leading larger, complex product projects
• A good understanding of business-driven projects and customer relationships
• Experience with project management tools and business systems
• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English

The position is located in Järfälla, and travel may occur in the role. The position requires a successful security clearance according to current security regulations.
