Join us in shaping the future of specialized housing! With the heart at the center, a focus on the individual, and an interest in utilizing new digital solutions, we create the best conditions for our residents. Could you be our next nursing assistant?
About the role
Karlslundsgården is Örebro Municipality's only specialized housing facility with a focus on welfare technology. We find solutions by thinking outside the box together and using digital opportunities to contribute to increased security, safety, and independence for our residents.
As a nursing assistant here, you will collaborate with residents in their daily lives, focusing on utilizing the individual's own abilities and resources. We do this with a rehabilitative approach at its core, where the residents' needs, resources, and wishes drive the goals of the rehabilitation. Here, we work in teams with care staff, nurses, and occupational therapists for each resident. Our operations are built on innovative solutions, where we review routines and working methods to create sustainable care and support for the future.
Examples of tasks:
- Provide personal care and services based on the resident's individual needs
- Work from a rehabilitative approach
- Document in our operational systems to ensure secure and high-quality care for the resident
- Collaborate with nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and nurses based on the resident's needs
- Work together with the team to develop working methods and approaches within the facility
About the workplace
Welcome to Karlslundsgården! Here, our up to 72 residents live life on their own terms, and we have the honor of supporting them in their daily lives. By leveraging innovative technology solutions such as sensor floors, key tags, and much more, we create conditions for our residents to live a safer and more independent life. We have 9 departments with a focus on both somatic care and cognitive impairment. There are common areas, options for shared living, and staff facilities. In the cozy south-facing garden, you will find greenhouses, gardens, pavilions, art pieces, a small pond, a bocce court, and walking paths with seating areas. Floors 2-5 also feature several shared balconies.
To add a touch of gold to our residents' daily lives, we organize many activities in the house. Would you like a taste of what we are doing right now?
