The Lung Clinic investigates and treats patients with respiratory issues, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic respiratory failure, and lung cancer.

In addition to standard outpatient activities, we perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including lung function tests, pleural taps, bronchoscopies, and drain insertions. We also conduct allergy tests, provocations, and hyposensitization treatments. The Lung Clinic also houses the Sleep Apnea Clinic as a separate unit, where we treat patients with sleep apnea using CPAP machines. Additionally, the Tobacco and Nicotine Prevention Clinic operates from the Lung Clinic, helping individuals quit tobacco and nicotine products.

Job Responsibilities

Your main tasks at the Lung Clinic will involve standard outpatient care as well as specialized duties regarding investigation and treatment, primarily within the area of lung cancer. It may also become relevant to work with patients requiring home oxygen therapy.

Qualifications

We are looking for a competent and responsible nurse. We value someone who fits well into the team, is social, and collaborates effectively with other staff members. You should be able to work independently, be positive towards challenges, development, and improvement work. You are outgoing and have good pedagogical skills.

We preferably seek candidates with a few years of professional experience. Experience in pulmonary medicine and documented education in lung medicine are meritorious. Personal suitability is highly valued.
