Service Technician for Smart Waste Management – Malmö & Perstorp

We are now looking for an experienced service technician who wants to contribute to the future of smart waste management!
As a service technician, you are responsible for ensuring high functionality, quality, and customer satisfaction through the service, repair, and installation of various solutions for modern waste management. You act as the company's representative at the customer's site and actively contribute to long-term customer relationships as well as product and system improvements.
The work takes place primarily at the end customer's site in the field and involves periodic travel with overnight stays.
As a consultant at Greja Företagsservice, you will be placed with our client for this specific assignment, which initially covers a period of 12 months. For the right person, there is a great chance of extension.
Base location: Malmö & Perstorp
Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshooting, and repair of waste systems
- Installation and commissioning of new systems at customer sites
- Perform mechanical and simple electronic tasks
- Identify problems, collect relevant information, and propose solutions
- Provide advice and technical guidance to customers
- Suggest improvements and development opportunities for systems and working methods
- Document completed work and communicate with internal departments
- Collaborate with the sales organization and customer service as needed
Accountability
- Ensure that work is performed according to current quality and safety standards
- Contribute to high customer satisfaction through professional and service-oriented interaction
- Be responsible for equipment, tools, and vehicles according to established routines
- Work independently as well as in a team depending on the assignment
Qualifications
- Upper secondary education
- Basic technical knowledge in mechanics and simple electronics
- Experience in troubleshooting and repair work
- Good computer skills, primarily Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Category B driver's license (required)
- Category C, BE, or CE driver's license is an advantage
- Experience with crane work and crane training is an advantage

Administrative tasks:
- Document performed work, service interventions, and deviations
- Register work orders, service protocols, and reports in internal systems
- Handle simpler administration related to service assignments, e.g., time reporting, material consumption, and follow-up
- Ensure correct and clear communication with internal departments after completing an assignment
