About the Operations

The County Hospital services for psychiatry and habilitation coordinate the care for adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as habilitation in Region Västernorrland. The County Hospital operations are conducted at three hospitals – Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik – as well as at several clinics located in various towns across the county. The area has approximately 700 employees. The habilitation services in Västernorrland are a county-wide operation with approximately 100 staff members located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik.

The target group for habilitation consists of individuals with permanent disabilities, with the largest groups being autism, developmental disabilities, and cerebral palsy. We work in cross-disciplinary teams for children/adolescents/adults representing medical, psychological, and social perspectives. The various professional categories represented in the teams include occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, physicians, medical secretaries, psychologists, physiotherapists, and nurses. We are now looking for a physiotherapist for the adolescent/adult habilitation unit in Sundsvall. The position is a full-time temporary assignment with a start date as agreed, for 12 months with a possible extension.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a physiotherapist with us, you will primarily work with adolescents and adults with mobility impairments. The work includes among other things:

• Conducting assessments
• Performing treatments
• Fitting of assistive devices
• Follow-ups
• Providing information, counseling, and supervision
• Participating in collaboration and training for networks and staff

Qualifications

• Have a B driver's license
