Anesthesiology Clinic at Mälarsjukhuset Eskilstuna (MSE) / Kullbergska Sjukhuset Katrineholm (KSK)
The Anesthesiology Clinic at Mälarsjukhuset Eskilstuna and Kullbergska Sjukhuset Katrineholm is a large clinic with approximately 300 employees. The department covers surgery, recovery, intensive care, and sterile operations. At Mälarsjukhuset, the anesthesiology clinic has recently moved into a new hospital building with modern and spacious facilities designed to meet both current and future needs.
About the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
On the ICU, patients with failure or threatened failure of vital functions are treated and monitored. Monitoring and handling of medical technical equipment, as well as monitoring of vital parameters, are major parts of the daily work. We also care for postoperative patients who have undergone major surgery.
Your Responsibilities
Here, you will work in a cross-professional team together with doctors, assistant nurses, and physiotherapists. As an assistant nurse, you will provide basic and advanced nursing care for patients with varying diagnoses across all age groups. Care is provided in a high-tech environment with the patient always in focus.
The work is varied and requires flexibility and initiative, while offering you great opportunities for professional development. Your specific knowledge and experience are essential for the quality and development of care. We actively work with development and improvement initiatives, and there are good opportunities to deepen your expertise in different areas of responsibility.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a certified education as an assistant nurse. In addition to your grades as an assistant nurse, you need a certificate of your professional license from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), or a certificate stating that you were employed as an assistant nurse on a permanent basis on July 1, 2023.
You are interested and have a commitment and motivation to work in intensive care. As a person, you are confident in your professional role, responsible, and solution-oriented. Since we work in teams, it is important that you have good collaboration skills, a non-hierarchical attitude, and contribute to an open work climate. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Employment Terms
Permanent employment with shifts during days, evenings, weekends, and nights. Start date according to agreement.
