You will join a technically advanced environment where cable and harness solutions are crucial for ensuring that complex systems function safely, robustly, and reliably. Here, you will take overall responsibility for the design, verification, and industrialization of electrical systems for demanding applications, with a strong focus on EMC, signal integrity, quality, and manufacturability. You will work closely with mechanical, electronic, system, and production functions, becoming a key figure in technical decision-making, reviews, and improvement work. This is a role for you who want to combine deep specialist competence with clear technical leadership in an environment where complexity is high and your impact is significant.

• You lead and drive the development of complex cable and harness solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• You are responsible for the robust design of cable systems and electrical harnesses for demanding environments and applications.
• You develop and verify analog and digital cable and signal transmission solutions.
• You ensure that solutions meet requirements within EMC, signal integrity, reliability, quality, and manufacturability.
• You lead technical reviews, risk analyses, and design decisions.
• You collaborate closely with mechanical, electronic, system, and production functions.
• You drive the industrialization and optimization of cable and harness production, as well as improvement work in design and manufacturing.
• You support suppliers and production in the development, verification, and troubleshooting of cable systems.
• You contribute to technical assessments and resource planning.

• At least 15 years of experience in cable and harness design.
• Several years of experience as a Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, or equivalent leadership role.
• Documented experience of complex projects within defense, aerospace, marine, railway, energy sector, or heavy industry.
• Experience in both the development and production of cable and harness systems.
• Experience in project management or technical leadership within multidisciplinary development projects.
• Deep knowledge in robust cable and harness design, high-speed digital signals, analog signal transmission, power distribution systems, EMC/EMI, signal integrity, connector technologies, cable routing and installation, environmental qualification, as well as manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Practical experience in cable manufacturing, harness production, prototyping, testing and verification, as well as troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Very good experience with EPLAN and Zuken E3.series.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering with electrical competence.

• Experience from the defense industry.
• Experience with military standards and requirements such as MIL-STD, VG, AS50881, or equivalent.
• Experience in process development and standardization within harness design and production.
• Experience with Capital Harness, CATIA Electrical, or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Certifications in project management such as PMP, IPMA, or PRINCE2.
• Experience with international development projects and supplier collaborations.
