Foreman in Piping Installation – Traveling Position

Do you want to take the next step in your career and work in a leading role within industrial piping installation? We are now looking for an engaged and driven foreman who thrives in a varied daily routine and is motivated by leading teams in project operations. This is a traveling position where you will work on various projects across Sweden. The work usually involves being away from home Monday–Thursday, so you need to be open to traveling for work.

Start is after the summer/holiday season.

About the Role

As a foreman, you will be a key person in the operation, responsible for leading and motivating teams in welding and assembly of piping systems in industrial environments. You have overall responsibility for the execution of projects and work closely with both customers, suppliers, and your own staff. The role is varied and the pace is sometimes high, which suits you if you enjoy problem-solving, responsibility, and working close to the operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and distribute work on-site in projects.
• Responsible for planning, execution, and follow-up of projects.
• Ensure quality, working environment, and delivery according to schedule.
• Maintain ongoing customer contact and coordinate external suppliers.
• Follow up on economics and results in projects.
• Motivate and develop employees.
• Participate in calculations and basis for quotations.

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience in piping installation, industrial piping, or process piping.
• Has experience in foremanship or alternatively strong technical competence combined with leadership skills.
• Has experience in welding and assembly of piping systems within industry.
• Thrives in a traveling role and is flexible regarding work location.
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and self-driven.
• Has good social skills and is easy to build relationships with.
• Has good computer skills and a valid driver's license (Category B).

It is an advantage if you have experience from industrial project environments such as energy, process industry, petrochemicals, or maintenance shutdowns.
