About the RoleYou will join an indirect procurement team in a global powertrain and manufacturing environment where availability, cost control, and supplier performance are business-critical. In this role, you will take ownership of spare parts and consumables, also known as MRO, while supporting procurement across other indirect categories when needed. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and suppliers to secure the right quality, value, and commercial terms.

Job Description- You will negotiate commercial and legal agreements with suppliers.
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to secure quality and value in purchasing decisions.
- You will identify and implement commercial, technical, and supply chain cost-saving opportunities.
- You will lead commercial negotiations and secure purchasing milestones in line with project plans.
- You will contribute to sourcing strategies that support future technologies and concepts.
- You will run benchmark studies, supplier evaluations, and sourcing projects.
- You will keep relevant systems updated to support real-time data transparency.
- You will build strong commercial relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- You will take ownership of your area while collaborating with the team to balance workload and delivery.
- You have a degree in economics or a technical discipline from a university or equivalent institution.
- You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
- You have experience working with procurement of non-production materials and services, preferably within spare parts and consumables or MRO.
- You are comfortable negotiating commercial agreements and working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- You have an analytic mindset and can see the full business case while managing parallel activities.
- You bring strong business acumen, high integrity, and a structured way of working.
- You are motivated by challenges, goal-oriented, and ready to question established ways of working when better solutions are possible.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel.
