Do you want to lead system projects close to the business and influence the entire supply chain flow? Here you will have a central role in developing and improving Dahl's system landscape.
About the role This position is a direct hire, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Bravura and you are employed directly by Dahl.
About the company Dahl is Sweden's leading trading company for flows within VS, ground & VA, cooling, industry, and property. With over 100 years of experience, they help their customers make everyday life work, from delivery to installation and operation.
From the automated central warehouse in Bålsta, Dahl distributes daily to approximately 4,000 locations in Sweden. The majority of deliveries are now fossil-free, utilizing a vehicle fleet powered by biogas, electricity, or HVO100. The operations also include around eighty stores across the country.
In the role of Junior Business System Owner, you will be part of Supply Chain Development, a team of ten people consisting of process leaders, process owners, and test coordinators. The team works closely with both IT and operational activities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you work at the intersection of business operations and IT. You are responsible for developing, improving, and coordinating system solutions related to Dahl's supply chain flows. The role is business-oriented, involving driving projects, analyzing needs, and ensuring that solutions work in practice.
You will collaborate closely with the business units, the IT department, and external vendors. A key part of the job is understanding business requirements and translating them into concrete system requirements, as well as monitoring and implementing solutions in test and production environments.
The system landscape consists of several systems linked to logistics, warehousing, and purchasing. Here you will work with both major and minor solutions, including advanced automation flows.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and coordinating projects regarding system upgrades, integrations, and changes
- Gathering, analyzing, and translating business needs into requirements for IT and vendors
- Ensuring systems meet compliance and security requirements
- Driving improvement initiatives in the digitalization and automation of supply chain flows
- Ensuring system solutions are integrated and support business goals over time
- Participating in vendor dialogues and contributing to both tactical and strategic forums
Education, experience, and personal traits
- Relevant post-secondary education in IT, logistics, or supply chain
- At least three years of experience working with systems related to logistics, warehousing, or supply chain
- Experience in requirements management and translating business needs into system requirements
- Experience in driving projects or improvement work
- Experience with IT systems linked to logistics processes and warehouse management such as WMS, TMS, and purchasing systems like Astro, Centiro, Relex, Pipechain, or Infor M3
- Fluent in Swedish and good command of English
To succeed in this role, we believe you work in a structured manner and have the ability to drive work forward even when multiple initiatives are ongoing simultaneously. You are comfortable in dialogue with different parts of the business and can handle situations where there are multiple perspectives and priorities.
You enjoy taking responsibility for understanding complex flows and have the patience to build understanding over time. At the same time, you have your own drive and a desire to find solutions that work in practice. The role also requires you to remain neutral in discussions and drive projects forward even when there are differing opinions.
